What is knee osteoarthritis?

What does the procedure entail?
Arthrosamid® is a simple outpatient procedure, typically taking around 30 minutes.
- Your knee will be cleaned and numbed with local anaesthetic
- The injection is delivered into the joint (sometimes using ultrasound guidance)
- A small dressing is applied
- You can usually go home the same day.
What can I expect in terms of recovery and results?
- First few days: mild swelling or discomfort is common
- 1–2 weeks: gradual return to normal activities
- 6–12 weeks: improvement in pain and movement as the treatment integrates

What are the risks and side effects?
