Professional profile

Dr Daniel Poon completed his medical training at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, graduating with distinction in clinical science. Before studying medicine, Dr Poon earned a degree in Genetics.

He trained in general and musculoskeletal (MSK) radiology at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals, with additional training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore.

His career as a Consultant began at Guys & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, where he served as a consultant MSK radiologist.  He later joined Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.

Dr Poon offers a comprehensive diagnostic and interventional MSK radiology service and was among the select group of radiologists providing care to athletes during the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
