He works with patients ranging from recreational exercisers through to elite international athletes and professional sports organisations, providing rapid assessment, diagnosis and treatment in a single consultation whenever possible.
Liam specialises in the assessment and management of foot, ankle and lower limb pain, including sports injuries, tendon disorders, plantar heel pain, Achilles tendinopathy, Morton's neuroma, arthritis, stress injuries, nerve entrapment, overuse injuries and complex biomechanical problems.
His practice incorporates diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound-guided injections, custom 3D-printed foot orthoses, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, rehabilitation planning, gait analysis and independent prescribing.
He also undertakes nail surgery providing treatment for ingrowing toenails and a range of common foot conditions.
Throughout his career he has assessed and treated tens of thousands of patients with lower limb musculoskeletal conditions.
He has extensive experience in advanced conservative management and works closely with orthopaedic surgeons, sports and exercise medicine physicians, radiologists, rheumatologists and physiotherapists to ensure patients receive the most appropriate multidisciplinary treatment pathway.
His aim is always to provide an accurate diagnosis, explain the underlying cause of symptoms and deliver personalised treatment that enables patients to return safely to the activities that matter most to them.
Liam believes successful treatment begins with an accurate diagnosis.
Every consultation is designed to identify not only where pain is occurring, but why it has developed, allowing treatment to be tailored to the individual rather than simply managing symptoms.
He is committed to providing clear explanations, involving patients in decisions about their care and delivering evidence-based treatments that help them return to work, sport and everyday activities as quickly and safely as possible.
