Wells Health is celebrating the success of this year's Paddock Wood Half Marathon.

As sponsors of the pacing team, Wells Health supported runners and spectators with free health check assessments in the post-event village.

Many participants took advantage of the opportunity to receive expert physiotherapy advice on warm-up and cool-down routines. Runners and spectators also benefited from an exclusive 15% discount on physiotherapy treatments.

Laura Harrison, Physiotherapy Manager at Wells Health, reflected on the event's success saying, "It was fantastic to see so many people engaging with our physiotherapy team on the day. Supporting runners with their pre- and post-race routines is crucial in helping them perform at their best and recover effectively. We’re proud to be part of such a positive, community-focused event."

Patricia Ferreira, Outpatient Manager at Wells Health adds, "The enthusiasm from runners and spectators was wonderful to witness. It’s inspiring to see the community coming together in support of health and well-being, and we’re excited to continue building these connections."

Wells Health will also be sponsoring the Paddock Wood Half Marathon in 2026 and 2027, reaffirming its commitment to supporting local health and well-being initiatives.

The Wells Health team of sponsored runners made a fantastic contribution on race day. Yu Yin Chan, Business Change Agent in Cellular Pathology, said: "Representing Wells Health was an incredible experience. The sense of teamwork and achievement was so rewarding, and it’s amazing to know we’re part of something that promotes well-being across the NHS."

Jamie Carter, Deputy General Manager for Haematology, added:, "Taking part in this event was the perfect way to prepare for my upcoming London Marathon. Being part of the Wells Health team kept me motivated, and it was brilliant to see so many people coming together to support one another."

Beula Clarkson, Clinical Nurse Educator in the Intensive Care Unit at Tunbridge Wells Hospital, reflected on her race day experience saying: "Crossing that finish line felt amazing.
