Mr Ranjit Sehjal's practice involves the full scope of hand and wrist surgery with specialist interests in nerve conditions, arthritis and traumatic injuries. He uses the latest techniques in hand surgery to achieve outstanding results, enabling an early return to work or sport.

He performs rapid recovery Dupuytren’s contracture correction and, for fractures that require fixing, he uses a technique that allows patients to move their hand or wrist immediately after the procedure.

Mr Sehjal prides himself on being patient-centred and ensuring your needs, as an individual, are at the heart of your treatment plan. He works closely with highly-skilled hand therapists, optimising your recovery and outcomes.

He obtained his medical degree at the University of Leeds and trained in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the south east of England. He has been awarded fellowships in Southampton and at the Sydney Hand Unit, Australia, where he has been involved in complex reconstructions and managing sports injuries.

Mr Sehjal's research interests lie in the areas of carpal tunnel surgery and base of thumb arthritis and he has presented his research internationally.
