Mr Mark Cynk's clinical practice includes all aspects of general urology.

His special interests are endourology, laparoscopy, stones and renal surgery, and he has particular experience in percutaneous stone surgery, ureteroscopy, flexible ureterorenoscopy and laser stone treatment and laser prostatic surgery.

Mr Cynk joined Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in 2002, as a consultant urological surgeon. He was born in the Midlands, of Polish parentage, and was an undergraduate at Guy's Hospital, London, with postgraduate training at the Institute of Urology, Guy's, Worthing, Brighton and Eastbourne hospitals.

This included attachments to the Guy's Stone Unit and the Department of Urology, University of Miami, USA.

He is a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons, including their sections on oncology and endourology, and a member of the European Association of Urologists.
